This was one of my most successful plates. It was on display in Kresge Art Center last semester. Created to match the other Running Waters pieces, you almost get the sense of looking down at a spring that's bubbling up. All of my plates have what I called an infinity edge. I didn't want there to be a hard stop. I wanted that feeling of movement to continue spilling right off the edge of the plate.

Fired at cone six, this had two pours of Floating Blue, followed by one pour of High Tide. The Floating Blue is actually the dark glaze that is under the lip on the back side. Plate measures approximately 10 inches in diameter.
