Eric Royston was a family friend and teacher to my three boys. He had all three of them in the PreK-K room at Wexford Montessori, as well as the eldest two in the 7th-8th grade room before he left to head up another Montessori school in another part of the state. Two of his sons were friends with my youngest two sons, so there were many sleep overs, birthday parties and other such gatherings. He was always doing, always helping, always smiling.
In 2018 Eric was diagnosed with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer, and we sadly lost him a year later. As I read all of the tributes posted by family, friends, and past students, I knew I didn't want them to be lost as time moved on. I approached his family with the idea of a memory book, and was honored when they agreed to let me put one together. The result of that effort is below. As you can see, he touched many (and continues to do so).
